Are there any alternatives to PayPal? I've heard that, whilst they are the no.1 online money transferring... type... thingy, they apparently ignore all attempts by people to contact them in the event of a problem and in reality, offer absolutely no insurance or protection against fraud.
Any ideas? |

PayPal has really good fraud protection, from what I've read. The only reason they've been able to stay in business is their extremely low fraud rate.
I was hesistant to sign up as well, but I read an article about the founder of the company and the technical goings-on behind the scenes and was really impressed. |

They never answer phone calls, I've probably tried to call them 10 times....and their number is not toll free. |

Paypal has it's ups and downs. It's easy and fast but if you ever have any problems they can be difficult.
I sell on eBay all of the time and I'd rather use Billpoint. They have lower fees if you have good credit and they are very reliable now that the bugs are worked out.
There are bad things being said about Paypal now.
