damn, that's nice...
My only critical obsevartion(if its correct) is that the shadow under her chin looks like it was created by a camera flash... I am assuming you used a photo reference.

ok, I looked at it again... maybe some work on the eyes... the pupils aren't perfectly found and the whites are a little flat. Also again the centered highlights in the pupils bring to mind a camera flash again

Hope this is helpful

Nice work , werry realistic.
But there is something witch the angle of the right eye that seam to be wrong and the neck looks a litle flat in the midle. Otherwise it looks really good.

Good luck!

Wow, that's pretty good.

I've been trying to reach the same goal for a while now, you may be running into some of the same problems I've been having.

1. your painting skills and choice of color are excellent. ie, the quality of light, color and realism are all there. VERY impressive.

2. However, Here's where I think the problem lies... I often get so excited about coloring a picture that I don't take enough time with the initial picture itself (whether in pencil or a sketch in photoshop.)
In your case it shows here in the placement of the eyes, the slightly crooked nose etc. You may find it helpful in the future to exercise extreme patience. for example, put alot of time into the initial sketch. DO NOT scan it in the second you are finished. Let it sit on your desk over night or even for a few days. Come back and take a look at it when your fresh. Chances are you'll spot at least one mistake if not more. I tried this, and it really works for me. But then, it is awefully hard to control your own excitement over a new project. I hope I've helped in some way. Your painting skills are quite incredible.

if there would be anything i'd fix on i think it would be the eyes, but when looking at the ref i'm not too sure anymore.. anyways, i love it

Nice work... Agreed that the eyes are just a bit off... I'm pretty sure you could fix them using photoshop... move her left eye up just a tiny bit.

Really nice...

Man With No Name , i think you are right , and your method will work ! But , im not master of the coloring as it can show up in the beginning. This is my second or third try of drawing from reference. For example , if you give to me scetch of this girl , i will draw(color) very horrible witch :-)
But i want to say that drawing from ref is extremally improved the results of any paintings.I think if some man will draw 100 pictures from ref , he will grow up on the head (or two).
heh .. such much words in english.. im a hero :-) (sory if it unreadable =)
