Hey-Yeah! My first short with MAX!

Some might remember the anime fighter I was working on.
Here's the anim I've made with this thing. :-) I love it and think you will too. This is supposed to be a fake trailer for an upcoming (non-existent) game.

wow, quite well done man.
great use of sound, the modeling is spectacular. the last little part with the explosion was well executed. keep up the good work.

but yes, the larger amounts of text need to stay up for a bit longer.

Very nice. I like your spaceship. A very cool model, really! The last explosion looks like afterburn and a shockwave tutorial I once saw on web.

Test wastoo quick, but the bloody visuals synched with sound kicked arse. Very well done. You should write tutorials.

that was freaking awesome man, but we all know that when it comes to top down shooters, tyrian beats raptor hands down

Heh. Tyrian was flashier, but Raptor had a beter sense of "style" throughout.

I thought it was cooler.
In fact I wasn't thinking of the old raptor game when I made this at all.

nice work.. love the music and sound effects... think the sound effects might have been a bit too loud (made me jump a little, ok ok.. my heart skipped a beat.. so what) but i love the great effects and modeling. i remember when i did my first short in MAX heh.. its funny but do most people start out with spaceships or is it just a coinsidence?
I started out on a space kinda fighter short to. Anyway, where did you get that music? was pretty cool. and great job.

PS. just to let people know that might have a old DIVX codec.. this takes the 4.x divx codec.. if you have like 3.x divx it will just play sound. heh i figured that out the hard way.

ah, well, I didnt care THAT much about the graphics, when it comes to games I look at gameplay purely, what I loved about tyrian was the sense of humor and the oodles (yes it's a word) of weapons

you gotta admit while you werent thinking of the game this DOES look like raptor
