Good stuff! (And your website even better!)
But I'm not sure if you're asking for c&c or not, I got told off once for doing it when they didn't ask for it (I forgot it's in the title of the Finished section, "if requested").
edit: I just realized that website wasn't yours, sorry. Yes I'm slow on the uptake. Yours is the one with all the hippos, yes I got it now. That's a cool one too.

i don't think you can request not to have critiques on here.. thats like saying, "glowing praise only." ... bah.
that said, i really like this. nice professional layout (to my eyes, anyways) and a solid image. i think the glows are a bit overdone, but it's not a huge problem. the moon doesn't look like a moon to me, rather a big rubber ball hanging in the sky.
i like the hands, and i love the face. the foot propped on the skull doesn't convince me, though. the feeling of 'contact' between the two objects doesn't seem to be there, the weight of it. and the shape of the foot seems less refined & more unrealistic than the rest of the figure.
i assume this is going to print at regular magazine size? how about a larger image (or a detail) to allow us to see some of the detail that would be apparent at print size?

Thanks for the crits everybody... I'm always interested in the way people see these pics and all the comments here have been accurate and well observed, which makes posting stuff really worthwhile. Here's something new I've done for my pal Gary... it's probably the last thing I'll be posting for a while, so in the meantime... keep on drawin'...
I remain,
