Hi there!
I'm try to paint some dudes from our studio with Gorillaz style.
How to you think - hawe i'm made good copy of this style?

I think it's pretty difficult to paint this style... The guy who did the videos is apparently some old disney animator or something of the like... reeeeallly famous though...
I THINK I remember him saying that gorillaz was 3d with a 2d renderer or that it was vector graphics which would look purdy much the same...
I would say that the people in your drawing look just a tad too realistic for it...

The guy who did Gorillaz is Jamie Hewlett who drew all the tankgirl books isn't it?? I'm pretty sure it is..
Your drawing doesn't really look like his style to me, you should look him up.

| well like cos said.... your style doesnt really look like Jaimie Hewlett. But you did say that you only COLORED it in the gorilla'z style and not drawn like it... If this is the case Well i guess you kinda did but i think ALOt of people color this way. I mean if you would show you pic to people probably no one would know this is in gorilla's style. If you would have drawn your characters like Jaimie did for the band than everyone would know... |

Fellows,i dont even think to paint as cool as Jaimie Hewlett 
And in your's opinions i see that i must work harder So i try to paint another picture in some shit compilation of this cool style

can you clear something up for me... Are you trying to colour like Jaimie OR are ytou trying to get his drawing style...
which one.. Because this makes a difference as to how to critique you ... |
