| Neat! I the shading of the orginal pencil drawing is very well done. I would suggest working on the ear to make it look a bit more realistic. Otherwise great work, I especially like the large eyes. |

i prefer the first version to the colored one.
the colored version looks flat.
i guess two main things that made it look flat is his cheek and jawbone.
looks like the head was cut and pasted on to an already flat looking neck.
too much highlight, not enough midtones ? .. im not sure.
anyway i very much prefer the black and white version |

well whatever! this is a pic i did a while ago...just sort of sat down and started it...no planning at all! and the second pic is the colored version done by the king of color none other than kingsting! (starting to sound like a monster truck rally) anyways crits and comments welcome!
this pic is a little light but oh well...im to lazy to find the exact oone kinger painted in...
