all paintings are acrylic, 2 hours paintings. actually these are some of my first experiences with painting other than watercolor+ink. crits are welcome and encouraged.

These are very good!
The woman especially.
If you want crit. maybe trying to use more contrast for the shading. I presume they are made with photo references?
You might learn alot more from drawing (or painting) from real life.

actually, all of these are real life models. i did them at pratt during precollege courses. my digital camera's flash took away alot of the color depth and contrast. they have no environment(or very little) because they were done in so little time, i focused on the model more than the environtment.

hmm, the paintings look a bit flat, in both line and colors, my life drawing teacher would say "more modeling, and I want to see better lights and darks!" and "draw the whole figure or I'll beat you over the head with a thin rubber hose 17 times" but that last thing is probably just his objective oppinion

ahh yes, my professor told me "crop the figure, more interesting composition"

and the flatness is due more to the camera than the paintings. they arent great, but they are better than they appear.
