Hi,
I've been lurking on these forums for a while, so I thought i should post something.
I must say the level of work I've seen on these forums is amazing. Kudos to all.
I just posted my latest work on the WIP forum, and thought I would post something here also.
This was inspired by a competition that Marvel.com had earlier this year.
You can see the concept sketch here: http://www.zerogravity.com.au/jonny/2Ddig/New/Fury01a.jpg |

Cool! I love the gun and the boot and the head and the background!
I think the body need a liiiittle more work tho, especially his right hand, I'm kinda lost in the shapes there...
Terrific work IMHO! |

I thought the same as Morgoth The Dark Lord
except I like the belt is also superior among the other things. |

Thanks for your comments
You're right, this image violates pretty much every rule of silouette. But I'm glad there's some areas of the rendering you like.
Personally I'm happy with the overall feel of the image, bright and colorful is what I was going for, but there are many areas that fall short. My excuse is I gave myself a tight deadline to complete it
LeChuck, Thanks. Glad you liked my Razor model. If I get a chance I'd still like to do more with him, rig him properly and do some anims... |

Fantastic man, the orgininal sketch is great, and the coloring is good too! Hmm I think the highlights should be more yellow though, to reflect those raging gun barrels. Nice work indeed...
as a matter of fact, I just came across an old comic card for Nick Fury ... weird hehe |

Too cool! Love the exaggerated super-hero style!
You could have some empty casings being spat out of the guns with a bit of motion-blur on them, but only if you want to glorify the violence of the scene |
