yo bumz
I got a few o/c'ing tools from some japanise guy "oh-hata" or some like that. My motherboard seems supported but when i run the program it always says PLL-IC cant be found! LOL Wtf do i do to make it run? The prog is SoftFSB and changes your external bus speed.
I know i wouldnt gain much anyway but getting 50-80mhz would be sweet too (without additional cooling)
im on
AMD k6-2 450 / 128 SDRAM / DFI m board
I also have a tool to change your L2 latency but since i dont have L2 (LOL!!) i can give it to you and you try on your own risk :)

tehehe..made a search on altavista.com and guess what! 4 hits! and they're all japanese, and 1 seemed to be instruction for the prog you have...but it's in japanese, so =) and maybe its for japanese motherboards, or they got some special powerplugs or something...since it only found japanese links in altavista...so it prolly only works in japan |

This is absolute POS!! (FDA style) Right when i was typing this reply, my screen went black and my compy restarted! LOL And i just turned it on and there was NOTHING that could cause it to restart (there you start getting virus and trojan thoughts).
Okay so what i was gonna say was that this thing is pretty cool, this guy (or company) made a lot of REAL nice tools! The web site wasnt what i said but it was
http://www.h-oda.com/ so i dont know what kind of stuff you found for Oh-Hata LOL But H-Oda is japanese though.
Okay now go download SoftFSB and see if it works for you :)
happy overclocking

heh i find it entertaining... every person on my class at school is like "OMG!! OMG!! MY MOUSE SKIPPED A PIXEL! OH NO, ITS A VIRUS!!" (its just an example, every little mishap on the computer, they blame it on a virus)...
shizo, that used to happen to me on my old computer sometimes, whenever i overload it, it used to restart for no reason... maybe you misconfigured it and it causes yer system to overload...
