Hi, I posted my dragon linework earlier this week, and since I felt obligated to actually paint it, I did!

Ok, so there is no background, heh... its 1:30 here atm, and I'm itching to post it, so thats why...

I feel like I have made a lot of progress doing this pic. It was hard work. I learnt a lot. There were times when I felt like giving it in.. cos it looked crap. Despite that I managed to get it to a 'finished' stage.

Any Crits would be appreciated...

That looks like a 3D image... neato =D

I think perhaps the neck it too long/slender to support the head's weight but I don't know if it even matters in this image. He has a little bit of a cartoony feel to him

I like it but it needs a scale texture.

I really like it. Looks kinda 3D ish but at the same time has a nice polished quality to it. I still don't think the bottom jaw is big enough though. The dragon would never be able to eat people as he doesn't have enough muscle in his lower jaw to crush bones and maul humans. Maybe he is a vegan and all huff with alot of pluff.

You see Matt.... this is where you're wrong! If you just look at the scale of the dragon you'll understand that his jaws are plenty strong enough to chomp us pesky humans!

Teehee... sorry ian, I couldn't resist

Hi guys thx for the responses.

Jezebel: Anatomy wasn't really a big concern for me. This would only be about my 5th digital painting ever. I am still struggling to learn how to do it.

LeChuck: I agree, maybe I'll add some... I got lazy though. At one stage I tried it but I failed..

Matt Elder: You're right. Despite you tellig me this before, I only thickened it a little. Now I see what you mean. Further back in the jaw... It needs muscle.

Jezebel: np.

Dan: Yeah I mentioned that it was in my first post. It is modified a bit though.

Death Dealer: Thx!
