I've been practicing and still practicing.
Tell me what you guys think. This was done totally in photoshop.
Edit: Ok, I redid it a little. I didnt think it was that bad though. I guess I should go back to the drawing board.

well Im not sure why nobody repied to this but... here goes.
Ive never seen any of your previous work but I will say that this image is the quality that looks like somebody had been practicing so for that I say good job. I think you need a little more work on facial structure and anatomy. also your will get into lighting but dont bother with that until you start to get the hang of the figure.
good work. dont stop working at it.

Thank you Awe
Yeah, I'm still working on those. The anatomy, lighting and a number of other issues, are all things I'm working on. I get so frustrated at times trying to correct myself. anyway, I really appreciate your reply. |

hey i think this is pretty nice. i like that hair too. my only complaint is that the lips seem a little fuzzy. maybe makeing them a bit sharper and adding just a little more detail to them. keep working at it

Like Guy said, it does seem a little fuzzy. I think that comes from not having a difinitive lightsource. What adds to the confusion is that you have a very bright and crisp highlight in the eyes but nowhere else. you can do one of two things, match the eyes to the figure or the figure to the eyes, either way it will strart to look a little more natural that way. I like the values and pose so far, maybe just punch up some shadows to get some more form into the figure. It won't take much to take this piece to the next level. from hey, that's nice to HEY, THAT'S GREAT!
Keep up the good work. mileage, mileage mileage.
