Hey, just started using photoshop. I don't have hardly any experience painting or anything, even drawing I'm not too good at. So any crits would be just great!

well thats pretty damn good for hardly any experiance in painting and drawing i must say.
the skin tone seems a bit too green and pale (unless thats what your going for) if not then try adding a bit more red to the skin colour. also, the shading seems kind of blotchy and it almost looks like you used a dark grey to shade it(i could be wrong) but try just using a darker value of the colour you used to colour the face. same goes for the highlights and finaly. the lips seem extremly sharp compaired to the rest of the face. i'm guessing this is still a work in progress, so maybe you were intending to fix the rest of it, but i thought i would bring that up anyway.

| I'll go to get it scanned today! Why do you say that it looks like a retouch? Is that a good thing if it is not. Because I did just draw the thing from the photo. I took me about half the day to do it. |
