Heya people, if been lurking on this board for a long time and now i finally have something to contribute. I just got my wacom a couple of weeks ago and have been practising a lot. I've found out that its very helpful to try to reproduce a corbis photo you like every day. Just work on it for a few hours... learn.. and leave it. And the next day start all over again. This is the result of such an attempt. Tell me what you guys think... I wanna get better at this...

Okay i can't get this f^&king pic to load.. i know there are some problems with links to geocities pics... can anyone help me out?

Hey very nice, I wish i could give you some crit but I suck at digital art and couldnt tell you what is wrong in that perspective but I am studying color theory on my own right now and you seem to be doing just fine.
I am a lurker too, I just dont post any pics because I suck, havent been drawing lately which i should heh gotta get somethin done for a friend. Anyway maybe once I start to pick up a little better again ill post.
Anyhow great pick I love it, keep up the great work

I love the Clouds.. nice moody piece. You're doing great! Keep this up and you'll be doing matte paintings for movies hahaha. Erm. that is a nice goal wouldnt it?

the background is gorgeous. you might like to try a little more detail, light / shade on the stonework of the church, the colours of the church are a little flat as they are now. try making the stone look rough. I don't know how. er, mess around a bit on a separate layer with different shades of the base colour and smudge them? the bells are great though, I like the ropes and bits, it makes them look very authentic.

1. Rename the image file's extention to .TXT
2. Link to the picture like this: http://geocities.com/yoursite/yourpic.txt (use img tags instead of url)

You could also try finding another host. (yod.net is great)
