Nice job, looks pretty good to me, one thing i would add would be some dark colors under the left breast, right now they look uneven, and little more shadow there, and it will give it the depth it needs |

pretty nice. i tend to agree with afex about the dark shades.
also more shading on the streps and more gradient (if not real textures) to the BG will give more interest to it. so is to the rail in the back.
and how come u don't smile like in the reference picture? u look cuter when u smile more.
besides more texture to the hair. dark and bright lines should help.
good luck. wellcome to the forum |

Thanks for replying everyone! Er, both of you. I think next time i post something i'll just make the subject "NAKED CHICK" and maybe i'll get more replies. anyway i fixed it a bit--www.geocities.com/wildgrey/selfportrait.jpg
afex: i did fix the chest thing. although i don't think there's that much "depth" in real life so i feel bad about it, heheh...
topeira: you sound like my mom! she's always telling me to smile more. I tried to make the background more interesting, but i'm just too lazy..it would look better with texture, but whats a good (good as in "easy")way to do that?
anyway, thanks again for all your help! |

Looks great. There are just a few things that I feel you need to correct.
First of all, the arm at the bottom left of the picture... It's a bit too low, therefore giving an impression of a long arm or .... even a high leg. Just move that bit at the bottom up a bit. You'll notice that in your reference it's around the chest area... i do realize that could create some challenges because you may have to draw more of the arm..... you may try varying the angle to rectify the problem...
the second , is the eye area... for some rason, the eyes just bug me. Usually, people don't use pure white for the pupils but instead offwhite or gray.... otherwise you get a cartoony look...
maybe one of the others may better help you on it....but the picture did come out pretty well..... especially the lower portion ~_^ |

Great picture. I think that you shouldn't use that dark color for the eyebrows. You'll notice in your photo that they are much softer and lighter. Also for the eye color you should use a much lighter skin color and not white. That's my 2 cents. Keep up the good work. |
