This is about as unoriginal as you can get, but here are a couple of industrial style textures I did for a personal project/portfolio type thing.
Let me know what you think of them. |

yea, u right - not very original. but at least done well. hard to judge outside a model but it looks rather good. i like the doors on the buttom. show a model with those textures if u ever get one done.

I guess nobody really liked these considering all I got was one post....besides being unoriginal, could I get some more feedback? resolutions? sharpness?, too much black? Overly dirty/rusty? What? |

yes yes, quite good textures...
I like the colours. The pop rivets are good. Nice sharpness, that can sometimes be hard to achieve. |

Really cool textures but I think they are a tad bit too dark.
But I gotta ask like glitterbug, "how did you do them" did you use overlays or are they made in 3d studio max. Give us a hint  |

niiice textures man. ever thing of working in the film or game industry...or you already are. This stuff is as good or better than anything out there.
Nice job.
ps I would like to see those textures applied on a 3d model, with lighting and all....

I am going to do a tutorial on how I did these. Its time I gave back to Sijun, after learning so much. These suck, but if you guys want to see it, Ill do it!  |

It's themes such as that, that tend to accentuate technical ability more than originality, I think you've hit the nail on the head, maybe an eye catching element to upset the general continuity of the overall texture
