Can't remember if I posted this. I don't think I did. Well anyway I did this a few weeks ago one night. It is an " experimental " comic page for my comic. It is supposed to be for a scene where my main character is getting brain washed. Most of you are familar with my artwork and my comic. I am wondering if I should include this in the comic. I have so many graphics in it already. Maybe just sneak a really trippy page like this in? What do you think?

I love this, nick. It's a method chart for madness, and I truly dig it. It'd be cooler if it had that scratchy/smeared feel & overlays that you're so good at. The intro credits to Se7en is a good example.

You really kick mucho bummy.

I think you should use it simply for the line: "We are inside you." Sounds like a lot more than brain-washing's going on hehe...

I haven't commented on the stuff you've done so far, but to summarize I totally love it. So, comments for this one...

Frankly, it scared the crap out of me. I read it in a rather small browser window, so I kept seeing these "Why can't I close my eyes?" without really paying attention to them... so I scroll down and then, suddenly, BLAM: "They cut of my eyelids". Totally gave me the shivers!

Definately think you should include it in the comic! It's original, scary and overall very nicely done with the whole "sterile-hospital-medicine" feeling. Someone said that it would be cooler if you added the smeared, gritty layers that you usually work with. I don't agree, as that would remove that feeling. However, how about doing some sort of fade from the top of the page to the bottom of the page, symbolizing the descent into madness/brainwashing? I would go for worldly, gritty textures and stuff at the top, gradually fading into pure clinical white towards the bottom... ooh, yes. My two cents.

Looking forward to see more of your very interesting work!

this thing great nick, its a little bare for a comic book, but is pretty dern cool
