This is a nice piece...I did a version of my own but have nowhere to place it...so I can't show you....

I used your piece and modified it a little.
if anyone has room somewhere where I could put this temporaryly, then tha'll be superb.

that's awsome. The background looks great especially. The lighting is exellent and so is the shadow. I like the texture on the robot but I also think you should take it down a notch so it doesn't look so rough. Then again, I've never played Metal Gear (blasphemer!).

*drool*... Nice job. I love that mech. IMO, that's the single coolest design for any walking robot/mech ever created. Yoji Shinkawa(I hope I got his name right) is a genius.

Now, on to the picture. I think the head-on view is kind of unexciting. But it was done without a reference, and I don't think I could remember what it looked like from an angle. And wasn't Rex more of a pale, washed-out green? That looks really rich, but that's not a big deal.

Good job!

Something disturbs me : all edges are a bit too battered, which makes it a bit 'fluffy' - it doesn't look like metal, more like clay or something.
Harden the edges ?

I like the values though.
( oh, and the design is great )
