my first try to draw from reference..

so want to ask proffessional ppls - is reference paintings can RISE my skill ? or this is just copyng of pictures ?

Hi. Unfortunately, I couldn't get your image to load. In general, yes, there IS a lot to be learned from copying photos. However, keep in mind, you can't learn everything this way. Drawing from life is always the best.
