very cool! though I'm especially drawn to your abyssal balcony. I love the linework in that floor pattern, and the depth is really eye-catching.
As for the photoshopped piece... the portal stone? I think it might be lacking some depth of it's own. there don't seem to be any actual darks, and the technique of the brushwork looks very pastel. Some greater shadows of the stone against the trees in the background might help a lot. And perhaps the green itself is a little off... too much yellows? not enough variety?
either way, looking good! I do like it. ;} |
