It's too smudgy, get some more detailed thin strokes in it! |

Hello notic, welcome to the board!
Im not one of the pros here, but anyways heres my advice. I think you should concentrate on learning the fundamentals, thats what Im doing at the moment. What I mean is download the loomis figure drawing book, get some tutorials and do as MUCH practise as possible!
Do much sketching, dont concentrate on drawing a finished pic with figures, background and so on, but just draw some figure line art, objects or whatever.
I think you should forget color for the first and try to get better at doing lineart. Good underlying line art will make it easier to create a good pic out of it.
Look around on these forums for old threads with advices from the pros. That will surely be more helpful than I!
Hope I could help, if my advice is shitty Im sure a "gold member" of that boards will correct me!
Good luck and much motivation! |

I think it looks pretty cool, but it is kinda blurry. Set the opacity of the brush your using to something like 35 to 65 percent. I usually go with something like 45 or 55 percent. Really its whatever your comfortable with that makes a nice sharp image.
The figure looks sort of stiff, it's somewhat hard to tell because of the smudginess. But as said earlier, go do some drawing with pencil and paper to get nice fluid body structure. Try doing dynamic comic stuff, you'll end up with fluid bodied characters after a lot of practice with it. I'm not to experienced with painting so I'm sure somebody else can tell you some good stuff. |

Cool for your early wacom pieces, gorddd...I can't even draw with the dam thing yet, Just aint the same as my trusty pencil, maybe it's just the 'looking at the screen' lark, instead of the pencil..who knows???
