Your images have such a surreal feel to them. Reminds of that one guy..crap. I can't think of his name. Michael something? He paints these dream type images, one I remember was a "silver cord" image where a girl went out of body and walked over to some funky dream world.

Well anyway, I think your stuff is great. And my two pet rats, Kenobi and Akbar, like your stuff very much as well.

You're a shoe-in for an illustration job.

I believe your thinking of Micheal Whelan he does really good illustration work, lots of it cover work.

Good luck with the illustration job, eventually I want to get in to that too. But I don't think I have the imagination for it like you do.
Great image, amazing job on the clouds and everything else.

Okay...I have to say thanks to ceenda and Gecko--to ceenda for his clouds tutorial (posted ages ago, but I saved it)--and to Gecko for that very, very inspiring flying snail pic. (Yeah, I KNOW it wasn't REALLY a flying snail, but I thought it was. I LIKED the idea....)

I want to illustrate books. I REALLY want to illustrate books. In fact, I drew this for a portfolio I'm submitting to a publisher or two for PRECISELY that purpose.... *G* Thanks for noticing....

Socar MYLES: That is absolutely beautiful! If story telling can be brought to the digital medium, then this is a fine example of how it can be done.

I'm glad the tut came in handy.

I just haven't had time to take part in the forum recently but work like this makes me want to come back. It reminds me of the illustrations in a book I used to have as a kid, though I recall it being about a rabbit or something.

My only crit is with the parachutes, the areas in shadow should perhaps be completely in shadow and not recieving light, even near the ropes. Mind you, this is a small crit on what is a fine piece of work.
