Hey all. long time no post. I thought I'd post some of the concept work that I"ve been doing for my company. Crits and Comments welcome.
These are concept illustrations for different races of the same species.
Sorry for the large size. hopefully they will not take too long to load.
this first one is an old one.

they all look nicely "original" (if there's such a thing under the sun) 
they all have a different feel too, the last one the least serious even comicy, the first one is serious, the second one more serious, the third looks evil...
what is it for? |

| So yeah. I was trying to go for an original feel and look to the characters. something that no one has ever seen before. (but isn't that what all conceptual art is for, to invent a style/look that hasn't been done yet) So... These are just concepts for the Game the I am Directing. This is one species among about 15-20 total species (with half dozen races per species). The are salt water dwelling creatures. I'll be posting more of these creatures as the project progresses. |

| btw, photoshop using the paintbrush with transparency. I work lots like watercolor. |
