This is no swan. Those are no real water lilies.
(Edit) I have decided to add close ups. Big close ups. So you'll need to click the links, wait for stupid tripod to load, and then enjoy
flowers
bird
water
(Edit2) Bah... stupid URL problem.

*at a loss for words*
Well, no crits here. I love the bird, I love the flowers, and I love the water. I love it all!
This one's been a real pleasure to watch progress step by step. You made my day, repeatedly.
I think this is quite possibly your best one yet, you know. It seems impossible that you keep improving, but, well, you've done just that! |

Beautiful palette, the water looks stunning and those sparkly things makes it all magical.
How long did it take to make? |

Danyi: Thank you Even if I don't quite understand what you mean with the water.
SlightlyTwisted: *just beams* Well, I'll just keep that in mind next time I paint something, then =D
-=Gux=- : Thank you. I wish I could actually tell you that, but it's so difficult to say for sure, since I worked on it on and off. I painted it over the weekend, that much I can say at least
schabe: Thanks! Heheh, and you got the "white water bird" bit right
Brue: Thank you. The brushes I use vary a lot, but I've uploaded some of the ones I used for this specific image: Brushes! There's a combination of smudge tool and airbrush tool going on here, so you can't even tell that some of these brushes have been used... add to these brushes the ordinary both soft and hard brushes.
rdgraffix: Thanks! I'll do my best
TheMilkMan: Yay! This is the first time I actually paint water seriously I looked at about 40+ pictures of water to get the feeling of it.

Daijoobu: Thank you... I put a lot of time into the water =)
Faustgfx: Just because you see a drawing that you feel you couldnt have done yourself doesnt mean you cant paint something else just as beautiful. Its a difference of style, technique, and taste I couldnt dream of drawing something like that gear thing you have up in the Works in Progress section (as I told you several times ). If I had given up every time I had seen something I felt I couldnt produce, Id have stopped drawing long ago.
And what good would that have done /anyone/?

what good? well at least i'd have continued sad attempts at illustration and cause myself more frustration and stress and hate towards "art" in every level and ultimately the hate would have grown so strong i'd reached godhood and could have devoured the world into nothingness and all of our pain and hurt and shit that we live in would be gone! MAUAHAHWuUWUAHAWUAHAHAHAHRAAHAAAAAAARG!!

I think danyi meant that there's a slight (just this--> [] small) problem with the perspective on the upper half portion of the image. Looks like there's some big waves in front of the... creature. Though it's possible that I'm seeing things - again... yeah, it must be so.
Taking a closer look, the water's is simple and just perfect.
In a whole, it's a beautiful picture, I believe that's just the way you wanted it. |

Maybe im the only one, maybe its just me ...
the water lily at the top, te smallest one, looks disjointed. Looks like its floating in space ?
Beatiful swan ... it looks as if shes lookin at me, the swan.

I envy your mastery of your craft, enayla! I'm glad you always do things sweet and glittery, cause that way at least i can tell myself "nice, but not my style"... That flower in the front is awesome. As the rest... |

Wow.. you are so good!!.
But after looking att the pic for a wile I realized that somthing felt.. wrong..
Shouldnt the flowers leave some reflection/shadow on the water?

Hmmm... there /might/ be something wrong with the waves. But as I said - this is the first time I try to paint water. I am honestly sick and tired of this picture now... so I don't think I'll go back and change anything just yet.
Maybe the next time I paint water, there won't be so many mistakes I'm still happy with how this turned out, though.
Wonder what I'll draw next... Hmm...
