Most definitely the 2nd one.

You are aware that the booklet proportions are totally off?

hehehe

thanx...

The first one sort of reminds me of glass in a glass blowers furnace, but it would need to glow more. The second one looks Very Metal (tm)

So, I would choose based on what you want it to look like, if metal, definately #2.

I get to be the rotten grape in the bunch. i saw that tute on www.cgchannel.com and seems to me that even the colors are about the same...
you did it and all, but it wouldn't hurt to actually put some of your own style/expression into the image.

i like the second one...but for a cd the first one is more on track.

i would colorize the second one to be all red and yeah... heh.

Comon now, the first one for sure
it's more saturated and it looks better with the motion blur! looks more realistic... even though it's not real

good work

1st one for sure...the 2nd one looks like you stuck the thing in gelatin, shined a REALLY bright light on it and took a picture.... The blurs and darker colors of the 1st one work better, I think.
