Alien
Predator
Aliens
Alien 3
Jurassic Park (kind of adventure more than horror, shitty butchering of script, some bad acting) |

Horror: "Amazing Stories", it's actually a TV series that were later released on video.
And "Tales from the Crypt", also a TV show. Also released as video, so I guess you can call it a movie too.
Gore: The Cube. Yikes.

Freaky : Meet the Feebles by Peter Jackson.
As someone pointed out earlier, see only the unrated Dead Alive. |

Meet the Feebles
Bad Taste
Dead Alive.
good trilogy.
evil dead and aliens are also good ones.
Any zombie film by Romero is good.
Stay away from ANY horror film by 'Salt City Productions', they suck.
The scariest movie I ever saw? 'Squirm'.
Look it up. |

Impaler: it may not be at Blockbuster, I saw it at BestBuy, all 3 together, and jumped at them. I was just as surprised as you about that third one. Haven't seen it anywhere else so far. |

I just rented "Redneck Zombies" last night. What a terrible movie that was. Not even bad in a funny way (like "Dead Alive"), just terrible. As for my favorite, I don't know.
Anyone seen "The Wicker Man"? I used to work at a video store and one of the customers always tried to convince me that it was the scariest movie ever but I never rented it. Anyone?
Incidentally, I just saw today that Wicker Man has been released as a collector's edition DVD. Perhaps I'll have to rent it.

Just in case, for the confused;
this 'Dead Alive' thing everyone is talking about is better known as Braindead! everywhere else. And be sure to see the un edited versions. Apparently in the US r-rated release they cut out the intestines (no pun intended), the blender, the lawnmower....
Travesty! |

Leprechaun in Space is almost as good as Leprechaun in the Hood. I swear to god, Warwick Davis has stooped when he is forced to say "A friend with weed is a friend indeed, but a friend with gold is better i'm told". WOW it was bad hehe
For real movies, The Exorcist, Se7en, among many. |
