I really like the colours. A little dodgy/burnish maybe. Only thing that I dislike is his face ... there's no real form.... I can hardly describe... looks so inhuman.
maybe someone else can tell you what I want to say |

I know exactly how he feels
great image,
the shading on the head could use more contrast, it's to soft as it is. The rest is great. |

Naah... I don't really even like "right"-looking faces. (that has nothing to do with that I can't draw those )
And that's a shame there is not much "funny-comic"-pictures in here.
Don't give a fuck for what I just said. www.maxon.rules.it |

I really like cartoony. And I did myself that stuff for years... but this face just has no real form. Really every line is somehow unexpected. The head looks too ...ah...I dunno |

i'd comment about the head but everybody else already did that so i'll leave that alone. the art line is sweet and a really nice figure. the coloring is nice but a bit too simple for my taste. more contrast and a second light source in a different color could help alot with the atmosphere.
but i still like it a lot.
oh, and i think tha gun could use straighter lines.
good job

But what if that what you expect is head is something else...
- - - maybe this object isn't a human at all. - maybe you are all assuming too much. - What if I wanted to draw a comfortable chair? Maybe "the face" then seems just like it should seem. Maybe it's just the handle of the comfortable chair...

I dig it. If you shrink the image a bit, it won't look so blurry. I like to work at double the resolution and shrink it in half when I am done. |

I DO make them in doublesized. But in this case when I had resized it, I blurred it. I thought people would prefer the pic like that than if it was sharpened.
- - - - Now it is resized again and NOT blurred. Do you think it's better now, root88? I think it seems kinda too sharp. But maybe it's just me then...
(I updated the picture in the same place where the previous one was, so that the NEW picture is now in the first post of mine. I just don't upload lots of same images to the net) |
