I decided to work on a concept pic today, just throwing together a few ideas. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

I think I've seen you do some of these before :) Not much to say other than that it's definitely a ceenda pic. I'd liked more contrast in the big island, the grass hills that get totally colored yellow lose the illusion of sunlight hitting them. some green should show. The composition is quite boring :]

Looks like the mountains are gonna run out of snow in the coming years.

Small update - adjusted the contrast a bit & reduced the yellow on the grass.

the_monkey: Cheers.

Gecko: Yup, not ma best. I haven't had a lot of time recently and this is just a quickie. You're right about the contrast. Something about my Painter setup makes me think that shades are darker than they actually are. Also, yep, the composition sucks.

travis travis: Thanks.

Makes me think that it would really suck if you were rafting down the river then *WHAM* you fall off the edge... Your day would be runied.

excellent. i like the way things are going here. it's a small amount, yes, but nevertheless, of images posted here, yadda dadda, god did is ever come out as a broken sentence, anyway, alot of it reminds me of the old school pixel by pixel by pixel 'till insanity -work around the demoscene and whatnot.. it's pretty. thumbs up. i like. now if it was, say, 2048x1536 rez, it'd go through some mangling and find it's way on my desktop wallpaper's place..

This is so cool!! I sorta have a thing for floating islands though, they are just so... hmmm, strange and beautiful.

My favorite part is the river that runs off the edge. The path of the river flows perfectly to me. *giggles at Dthind's comment*

Good work Ceenda

Sorry for the delay in replying, I poured tea over my keyboard and broke it.

Dthind: Thanks, I like the idea of the guy on the raft, might include in the next pic.

faustgfx: Cheers. I'm a big fan of the demoscene and would like to see more of that style around thesedays.

Jezebel: Thanks, I'll be doing a higher quality version for my website soon.

Isric: I was suprised to hear you only just turned 18 a month or so ago! The mind boggles.

very very nice work. The colors are nice and calm. The whole idea of the piece is really fun I like it.
