Hi folks, here's some pencil sketches I drew up in the last couple weeks.

Comments or critiques?

These are rough doodles, mostly for getting a feeling for the races, and characters.

Love the first one. Were you influenced by Iain McCaig by any chance?

Hey, Skeez. These pics are really cool. I like the guy on top the best.

It reminds me of when I used to go to school we'd have class at 9a after being awake for 24 hrs. (in labs 'n such) and the creature sketches I came up with in class were crazy, but seemed to be my best.

Get-up Kid: I assume you mean style wise, and not subject wise. If style wise, I'll take that as a compliment

McCaig's loose style has definitely inspired me over the last few years. Everytime I get stuck in my detail, I loosen up and try on his style for a day or two, and usually better drawings seem to pour out.

thanks Rick and Flex.

the first face is very good, nice linework, very alive and good design.
The next drawing of the axe-warrior, it looks like you did it a couple of years ago, Im sorry to say, Im not trying to be rude, but the quality are totally different and hes out of balance.
I cant see the last one.
But as you say they are rough doodles, but the quality is far better on the top one, hope you can use my comments

I like the top one, but the bottom one is my favorite! Those eyes are creeping me out!

I would advise working some more with that one and make some more sketches of it. Only because I want to see more of that guy :P
