That one was influenced by Ed Lee's Stargate picture. I tried a couple of things an kinda liked this texture thing over it.

[Edit]
Here is a slightly modified version - [/edit]

tell me what you think and crit away.

p.s. did i mention that I hate geocities yet?

Wow! Reminds me of the Gothic set designs of Tim Burton's Gotham City in the Batman movies. It would be cool to have some rust or something on the large surfaces though.

Buddha,ceenda: thanks :]
it would have probably looked better when I would have added some textures -
I tried some and didnt find anything that would fit in so I left that out.
I kinda liked the plain version better in comparison.

I'll probably try some scratches on it.

Krazy: yep I have to admit, the perspective looks warped. Its one of the strangenesses of 3dsMax- somehow it always looks off more or less, perspective wise.
The construction s parallel.. but somehow the rendered projection is not- strange

I really like the feel to the first pic. The dirty look is sweet. The second pic looks way to clean. The grayscale is a really nice touch as well. Great work Nex. Only one thought, have you thought about using a bump map on the big engine like things? I think if you do a bump map of some dents and scrapes it would really add to the piece. Like I said though I really like it.
