I like the lighting you've used against the darker elements of the pic. The highlights in her eyes are nice too.

That is very nice Francis, I do like the lighting.

The girl's face is very nice as well anatomically speaking (maybe her right eye needs a little downscaling), aside from that, it's a very very sweet image! Btw, I sort of wonder what your wife looks like... does she influence your female face drawings?

(darn, I guess I'm the only one here who can't draw noses..)

Cool pic. Your female portraits are improving. The red gives the impression of nightclubs, but also BLOOD!!!

I think her neck and chest area is looking a bit flat. Maybe stronger shadows there.

Jenn, I didn't think of Vampirella at the time I did this, but I can see how it would remind you of that.

Liquid, thanks - I really dig the v2 of your vampire painting, just didn't get around to saying so in your post.

burnout, Kjetil, ambient, axl - thank you thnak you.

Frost, my wife is blonde, but definitely I have her in mind a lot of times when I'm drawing women (or cars, or hammers, or buildings...).

Kathode - now that I look at the picture, I agree.

Sedone, thanks for the tips.

Here's an older image I started to rework after that vampire one, but ran out of steam.
