i think your stuff is great and i have been changing my background with every new post. i really favored wrath for a while.

faust and spitfire have a point.
but i still think that phot-manip is art because of the creative design it takes to come up with something that looks good.

Before i start the bashing, i�ll let you know that one day i will find you and rip your balls out for putting an image of the statue of liberty in there. *growls*

The bashing will have to wait for another time and place cause i actually like this one. You found a pretty nice texture and i really dig the mirrored idea of it. Also, im a total sucker fo classical serifed fonts in all caps, as most of you know. You have my "Arrr matey!" on this one.

My point being that in a few weeks time you changed from puke-on-the-screen-photorape to imagery that shows layout, illustrative value, etc. So there. Keep going.

Got to agree with spitfire on the statue of liberty... First of all, it's a pretty corny symbol, lthough that's personal opinion, of course. That aside, you've got a pretty nice background going there, it looks like a concrete, real object, and that's kind of where the clash originates. The inverted picture of ther statue is just floating there, while the rest is pretty solid.

My point being (priceless line!) that someone from Denmark should not associate that bastardised american icon with the freedom of his country, or freedom in general.

And yes, scan a lunchbox. A plastic one, in one color. An old one.

Well, you could always say that it's cutting the head OFF the statue that symbolizes liberation ? Like toppeling all the old Lenin statues in Russia ? LOL !

Anyways, I really like this one as well split ! It looks a lot more thought out than some of your older stuff, and I really hope you'll continue that way.

Galen - I believe the term you're looking for is 'crusade'.
As in '... before faust and spitfire are in here continuing their crusade against anything that isn't handpainted...'
