And here's another little recent project of mine... people on other forums have seen it already. I've been scanning in my funky mug and manipulating it to look all artsy-fartsy. You can tell that two of them are based off the same photo

I dunno, lots of people don't consider photo manipulation art and I reeeeaaally don't want to open that can of worms. It seems to get opened a lot here ^_^

Personally I would have liked to post there though.

Nice! I like! Makes me wonder what you could do with a photo of my ugly mug.

How about take these to the next level--full fledged photomanip painting of a theme. Maybe you as a Moon Goddess, a fire demon, an evil temptress, or some other fantasy idea.

In my opinion, photomanip can be considered art when it's done with a certain level of creativity. Look at Dave McKean--he's got a lot of admirers.
