I love this! I think you really captured a life in this sketch. I dig the style as well. It would be great to see him fully colored.

Very nice for a 30 min sketch, i like the little touch of color and the marker "aspect"

im trying to learn to use painter so if you have time can you just say whata re the tools you used for the "inks", is it some of the scratchboards tools ? and for the colors it is simply digital airbrush or somethign else ?

thanxs

Get-up Kid: Yeah, for me look like he get old too early. well, i dont want to go in deep details with it.
Mime: first of all,i'm not too good in this stuff, but anyway it is not PAINTER, is ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 5.5, and i did't change anything in the brushes options. what i did is:
Layers-multiply
Paint Bucket Options-normal/15-20 opacity
Oh, and i use only brushes (not airbrushes)

thanx.

Nice to see another one of these angular character sketches Bizarde! I haven't been able to get any web links about the animated BBC shakespeare adaption, as I'm still quite keen on the whole style you've got going here.

Out of interest, do you do much landscape sketching at all?

BTW - the nose reminds me of the nose of a British comedy actor called Stephen Fry.

New year's resolution.

You do some landscape paintings, I'll do some concept sketches.

His hair seems to thick for an oldy. I'd imagine it more thinned out and little whisps floating around
