Hullo everybody.

Well, I've been giving it some thought, and I'm going to officially "butt out."

I mentioned in both my "Interim moderator" thread and my "Forum Rules" thread that if there was resitance from the old school members to my suggestions on how to spiff this place up, that I would let it go. Well, it seems that there was a lot of resistance. Looks like this has happened before, and the word is to just wait until all the stars align by themselves. I don't know how this will happen without moderators or an administrator, or rules for new members... but in all honesty this is Dhabih's site, so it's really up to him to take care of this stuff.

So without further ado, I'm going to move along, as I have a life outside of Sijun. I'll still post here and there, but I'll mind my own business and just go with the tide.

I just hope dhabih comes back to take care of his site eventually...if anyone else keeps the ball rolling on what I started, all power to them.

It'll all be good. Have an inspired phase of painting. Maybe in the meantime things kinda settle again around here, and you can come back armed with a whole clip of new amazing paintings.

Your efforts will probably be remembered for months, and it's garnered you a whole belt of respect.

You've started a wave of change in this forum, and it would probably still be up the creek with no oar without your Red Current. . .. (harharharhar)

Besides, look at the Interim Mod thread. You've established a fresh list of eligible moderators, where there would have been chaos and squabble had it been done at another time. This way, when Dhab gets a spare moment from his busy job life at Valve and pops his head back in here, everything will already be taken care of, aside from his stamp of approval and personal opinion. He'll have his suggestion box stuffed, he'll have his deputies (Jussi and I and Chapel, and you, if you're willing) ready to be recruited, and whatever weak analogies I can think of (no more, currently)..

So, yeah. Go paint. It's much more fun than trying to figure out what I say, anywho. .. :p

Hehe, the more of those "bring the good times back"-thread i read, the more of the old names pop up in it. I think there's still a lot of the "old crew" in here and a lot of the newbies are sincere.

So, if only DHABIH would show up, we could get this place in shape again. What is he afraid of?
