This looks cool. If your using photoshop you can use the bracket keys to increase and decrease the size of your brush(smaller brush=sharper line).

SHIFT + the bracket keys will change the smoothness of the brush.. hard/smooth edges.
I suppose you already found how to set the stylus in the options,
you can set styles to opacity and a fixed bursh size
or stylus to brush size and fixed opacity

After experimenting with dat thingie I came to the conclusion a graphic tablet is best used for coloring jobs, 'cos doing sketches is a real pain in the ass... I can hardly do a straight line with that pen 'cos the cursor gets jerky like shit as soon as I touch the tablet. In fact, I could draw a lot more accurate with my Intelli Mouse...

Aaah well, back to teh inking and ballpoint pens I guess...

I guess it gets kind of tricky when setting up a mannikin in the computer
too, with a tablet I mean. Well I guess you can always paint over a reference...hmm. Smile
Anyway, good stuff with the tablet.

take it easy and have a nice day

Hey Flat,
If the cursor gets jerky as soon as it approaches the pad it
probably means that the driver is too old. Happened to me.

Go to the wacom site and download and install the latest driver.
Good Luck

not just the driver... if your tablet's too close to a monitor (at least with the older wacoms, ie. intuos1, etc), the cursor gets all jumpy as hell... happened to me when i switched over from a laptop to desktop, til wacom tech support told me about that issue... keep your tablet awa from the monitor and you'll be fine...

anyways, good stuff, i like the first pic... Smile

It is usually not a good tool for sketching, pencil is.
