Hi, allow me to present myself, I am MrDuck, duck extraordinaire and gnawer of feet, I am also trying to learn how to draw and I recieved from a friend the url to these here forums and I said to myself "why not?", and here I am....I hope that with your wisdom, knoledge or sumthing you can help me draw a bit better 
PS: I suck at drawing...seriously....

welcome Mr.Duck.
my advice you is this.. sit and learn for a while. this forum has had alot of people come recently who have posted bad artwork and demaded too much from other forum goers.. so please learn all you can then post your art when you feel that you are happy with it, in the finished Gallery, or when you really really need help, post in the work in progress. In the mean time get to know us.. chat with us, offer advice on other artwork and be constructive to this comunity.
we always welcome honest and sincere people, but resond very badly to peopel who just come to disrupt.
hope you enjoy your stay.
