Have just been finishing this piece.. First time in my history I will be painting a drawing.. This ugly greyscale did I just put on to se how I could paint later on with colors. (do not have a table so it is a hell to paint it)

Need some help with the painting of the chromed armorparts and the wings.. Especially metall do I find hard to paint. Can't get it to look "real"

the best thing to do when trying to draw metal (or anything else) is to observe the nature. get a cooking pot and watch the reflections in it, that's an example of reflective metal.
