hey all i have just recently got painter and decided to give it a go but im not to sure how this is turning out since its my forst attempt im about half wy through it
any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated

Well, Im no expert, but I think its really great. I can't offer much advice, except that, in my opinion, the guy's face is the weakest point of the pic. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but when I cover the face up with my thumb, the whole thing looks 10 times better. The eyes are good, but the nose, mouth and that line indicating cheek shadow doesn't't flow with the rest of the image for me. In fact..is his head too small? Bleh, I'll stop rambling now, good pic. |

hmm Aren't you Itchy from kpcl too? ^^ We meet again.
I think that the colours has to be blended and smoothed. More contrast can be applied on the muscles. Try to make the stroke a big SWOOSH across the contour of the muscles, instead of pick pick pick pick certain areas. |

I really like the lineart, neat sketch. I agree with the above c&c...you might want to try making his head a smidge larger...with his very "manly" neck, a larger head might work better. I look forward to seeing this finished  |
