im trying to make an old man, lots of problems with getting the skin right (right now he looks a little uh... dead?) anyway, still a pretty early wip, i started him a few days ago, using the young man model as a base (which was posted about a week ago, and can be seen further down the page)
comments and advice appreciated!

| thats good so far, if you want him to look old, make his skin color a bit more pale and make his skin a bit more melty and chubby. Looks really good though! |

that's pretty cool!!
atm he looks like he's between about 35 and 40. Bit like bruce willis actually!
Old men's mouths usually cave inwards..they get these wrinkly pin lips happening...and same with the eyes, the skin gets really saggy and wrinkly...droopy etc.
I've always had this theory - whilst men grow old to become wise and distinguished, women just turn into old crones. However..as men get older their noses and ears get bigger!!! Seriously, check out some old men ...they'll have hair coming out of ears the size of hands and noses like big giant mushrooms. Funny stuff really.....er...
otherwise - get him to do my homework for me and i'm sure he'll age another 20 years or so (i know i'm going to....) |

hahaha bruce willis?? the last image i posted someone said looked like the guy from 'hitman' (the game) i wonder if the connection is anything more than the fact they are all BALD!
thanks for the helpful comments, good points all of them.
a tiny update : (new skin-probably too pink right now, but it is alot more pale-, more detail around eyes)

nah it is not becuase he is bald... he does look like bruce willis lol  he has most of the face traits he has so it makes him look maybe like a younger Bruce but that is him lol btw great job on the head but the shame is that your going for an older look and he does look around 35-45... |
