My problem lies with the guy on the right, I want some kind of weapon that the guy can throw around the big guys arm and pull on it like in the picture. I'm kinda stumped, any input would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

well you could either have a scythe or a halberd or ax with a curved blade on the other side. It doesn't make much sense though, as I would want that bad mofo as far away from me while fighting him. I suggest on changing it so the warrior on the right could use a spear or something similar.
also I think its not so great of an idea to cut off most of the monsters face. Its not good for the composition at all. if its not fully in the picture at least make him face the space to the right of him

although I think the pic could still use some work in composition and anatomy, I think a weapon you might be able to use is a manrikigusari, a weighted chain used by ninjas, here is a link to one... http://www.martialartsupply.com/Weapons/Ninja_Weapons/Manrikigusari/manrikigusari.html
but I have also seen them longer with a smaller weight at each end so that they can wrap around things like arms and weapons. I'm no expert but I think nija used them to disarm opponents from a distance. |

In medieval Europe they had sticks with either metal ringlets or ropes that could be drawn tight from the other end of the pole. The metal ones often had spikes that would push into the prisoner's neck if he tried to get away. Of course, that guy would be tossed like nothing by the monster. He is to the monster as a cat is to a human. |

Actually Darkliege, THIS is the whole composition, I just zoomed in on that one part so that you all could see it more clearly.
I wanted the guy on the right to be sort of restraining the monster the monsters arm from dealing additional damage to his buddy. I had already drawn the monsters arm in that pose and I thought it would make a more interesting composition if I had more people on the little guys side. I thought the guy on the right kinda fit.
BASTION: Thanks for the link, but what do you think is wrong anatomy wise? I mean I know the 2 guys I added most recently have some work to be done, but what about the rest?
Do you all think I should ditch this idea completely and give him a different weapon? any and ALL C&C is more than welcome! Thanks guys

How bout a Man Catcher. Its a pole with a opening on the top so things can enter the top of the weapon but not exit it. It is small enough only to entrap a leg, arm, or neck. Also I would have to agree with Darkliege, I dont want something tht big to be close to me. |

You could use a spiked chain. People did fight with chains.
Also the guy be fighting with a net and trident and he's wrapped his net around the guys wrist. |
