YOu mean you're trying to paint in isometric view?
You'd want to use 3dmax which isnt a 'drawing' program but 3d modeling. Then you'd just make usual models, and then render it in isometric view. |

Me and some friends are working on an amateur game project. This is almost my first or at least the first one in an isometric grid. First of all I thought i ought to do something just to get the feeling of the perspective. It was harder then I had thought. Things that are standing up aren't any problem, like the walls.. But that damn roof! I can't get it into perspective!
I would appreciate any tip on how to draw useful guidlines for the roof etc.
If I where to draw it in 3dsmax, wich is the easiest way to get it to correspond with the grid?
See ya!
