I very rarely post here anymore. I usually just hover around and eat up all the delicious art and unique styles going on here. Sucking up all the inspiration and taking it back to my lair.
Anywho. I think I've posted art here all of two times in the years I've known about it. I remember there was some drama, it was taken down and I had to reregister my name...
Figured id post my latest(that im pretty proud of seeing how quickly done it was) sketch. A BIG change from my usual thick outlined wacky junk.
Don't really have a name for him yet. He's just too cool looking for any ol' name -_-.
I figured you guys can give me some tips or something... if you look really closely you can see where i erased the dark shading from his jacket. I tried to get a leather thing going on but It didn't work out that way. Luckily I sprayed fixitive over it so i can work some elements and take em out if need be.
heres the whole version
I just kept the original size from the scan so i can color it.
I just got painter 6 yesterday, too confusing G_G.
crits, comments?

that's one kickass character! the expression, the pose, the wacky proportions- it's all superb.
i can only offer a couple of minor crits- the thumb (on His right hand) seems a bit too big, and the goggles doesn't seem to follow the shape of the head correctly.
can't wait to see it colored. |

Thanks man. I think I'll defiantely stick to the no thick lines thing for a long while. Atleast when not drawing 'ultra cartoony' stuff.
Yeah, I really didn't notice the thumb until you pointed it out. Guess I shouldn't have sprayed it so soon. I don't really see the the goggle thing tho. Heh, maybe I should worry about finishing the actual drawing before I mess it up w/ coloring.
Colorists? Do your thing, have at it.
I'm still stuck in the whole "air brush everything to death" mode, myself. |

I love that picture it looks so uniquly cool. what you could do if your colouring it, is make it so theres a spark from the liter and its reflected in the goggles as the only source of light or somthing. |
