i assume you'll be cleaning up the edges, so i don't need to comment on that... check your light source... from the pic it's not too clear where the light is coming from... some parts of the bot look like they're lit from the top-front, others from directly in front, etc...

btw, i certainly hope you got permission from the original artist to airbrush it...

i dont know if your reference to a "previous post" meant to be giving credit or not. but, its good to mention somebody when you use thier art.

just because "everyone here has done it" doesn't make it right... always try to make it a point to give credit for lineart, etc, if you'll be modifying someone's piece, even if for practice...

i didnt say dont do it, i said give credit where credit is due. and the people who do practice coloring do give credit. im just saying that if you dont give credit, then you may get crits on stuff you didnt do. if you think thats me causing trouble, i dont really give a s***.

Oh, okay i misunderstodd! Of course im going to give credit...at the end. Im not sure whatim going to do for the bg or enviroment or anything like that, so i cant put it on the picture right now and i wasnt sure where i had got the picture, so i just said i used a picture from a previous post, which is where i got the line art from. No biggy, but really what do yo think?

The artist around doesn't care if you were going to at the end. It's best if you give the credit in your first post. If you really don't know ask who's it was.

And trust me your "No biggy" is a biggy here. It's a good habbit to get into now.

As for you drawing you might want to add some lightbluish colour to it to add colour.
When you go to doing the details you might want to add scapes and dents to the body armor. Try this Tut for dents
