Hey. I think I want a new sound card. I have four speakers. Two are a set with a sub woofer, and the others are my awia speakers. Will a new 3d sounds card improve my sound quality. I have no clue what i'm talking about here. Someone set me straight?

Maestro MPU401. Yeah, I think that is it. I've never even really thought about a new one. I've always ust used the one that i've had. It's old. It came with my computer. Sony VAIO pcv-240. Old stuff. What do you think?

depending on how old it is...

the card you have is pretty good and provides nice sound quality. the reason you might want a new one is if you want really really reallym nice perfect sound, but hey doesnt everyone...
