hi,

it's my first "drawing".
Just started cuz I think it's good
for 3ds max. So...
I'm using a pencil and normal paper,
so nothing special

it's unfinished:

need some critique!

well if your just starting maybe you should try something simple and something you can refrence instead of a pic you made out of your mind, unless thats like a guy from the alien movie, never seen that movie, well neways you need a simpler pic when you begin. Like they always say you must walk before you can steal a car...umm or something like that. The pic is kinda wierd and i don't really like WHAT you drew but thats my problem. Well if you REALLY just began drawing thats a pretty good pic.

Hope I helped, I'm not the best either,
Bye Bye

thanks, every kind of critique is good critique .
I really just started
and the pic is of course weird. especially the teeth are f***ing up the whole picture. I never saw the movie alien, just some pictures from commercials and stuff like that. (Can't wait to get a wacom, to start some digital art .)
Do you perhaps got some reference stuff I can start with. I just tried some very hard pics and failed of course.

thanx!

I find that drawing still lifes helps me alot. You should start with something simple... Like a ball, or apple. Then maybe you can do the ball and the apple together. Just move slowely, and the more you practice, the better you will become (just like anything else).
