bored, and full of caffeine...may as well paint eh? anyhow, here's a quick sketch of a work in progress. toying with lighting a bit on this one, haven't quite got used to my digital conversion yet or the quick paintery, so.



anyhow, this is a lean more toward my style than the last image i posted. this is one of my characters, supposedly a old prophet watching as the armies launch for war. crits are welcomed in any form, good, bad or wet. =)

I really like it... It has the kind of dream like feeling that you just can't help liking ^^ I like especially the flying dandelion seed like flecks ^^ I'm listening to "Without Listening" by Kemopetrol and the mood of it matches the picture so well...
I can't wait to see the finished picture ^^

well there's some original directions i never thought of, i can't decide if i should render the "crafts" into seeds or whales. =) hmm...yeah the whole backdrop is slop as of right now, i was planning on painting the whole back bit in painter and the guy in photoshop. good, to hear that i got the dream feel right like i hoped.

what about the lighting? should he have an amulet or some kind of staff...?

Wow....so blue....reminds me of, well something blue atleast. Maybe a video game. But neways, think this is an awesome pic, but those army crafts need more detail. The look like blobs of clolor right now. The chara is done very well. The cloak is kool and the head design is very...interesting? but in a good way. Very cool pic.

you should take the moon out and add more fish, my first impression was that of an underwater reace, and those ships looked like whales to me. It almost works. Especially with all the blue. keep going, i want to see the finished product.
