just a new concept from me, i'm kinda confused doing this, is suppose to be an underwater (alien planet) bio-robot scout and have to be more human than robot. it's also suppose to have few mobile "wings" for swimming.
suggestions/opinions ?

Yep it s there.
Nice to see anudda piece from you Bizarde, this is pretty mint.
Sweet detail and everything seems to be in order anatomically speaking.
Plus I like the fact that her breasts are realistic, size wise(even small...highly unusual these days).
Looking good

Good to see another inspirating pic by one of my favorite concept artists. Nothing to crit just want to see this one done. Are you going to colour it? |

Really cool image! The only critique I have is that the only reason I know its supposed to be underwater gear is because you said so.
If she's under water, floating hair, or even a floating stance would go a long way. If she's above water, having the hair slicked down, liquid dripping, etc would do the trick.
Still, I really like it! It has a sort of Shirow feel to it More please. |

Very cool design, everyone has just about mention anything that could be improved. One minor thing if she is under water then you might think about redesigning her boots so that when she swims she can get less water resistance, think along the lines of scuba gear. Even if she is being propulsioned by some sort of jets or whatever, also the comp has a sepia color to it, why not change it some sort of duo tone blue?
Kick ass work man. |

I think you could do the "Wings" as flaps that span between her wrists, and her waist.
Sorta like a flying squirrel type membrane.
Also, some type of obvious respiration device might be good. Make it more obvious that this is intended to be underwater. If she BREATHES water? Some kind of obvious gills. As of now, it doesnt look sub_aquatic at all.
But its still bad-ass! |
