hi guys,
this started off as a photo-portrait of my dearest friend in the whole wide world, but as i detailed the pic it didn't really look like her, so i decided to put my own personal touches in and make the girl in the pic my own creation... :P
drag this to your address bar
just like to know what you guys think of her... i haven't really put any shading or creases on her t-shirt yet, but aside from that, and maybe a fuzzy background, i'm almost done... :P oh, and btw, the current background is just a simple gradient, and isn't meant to show the lightsource... :P
cheers,

That grey background doesn't really work well with the portrait. Try experimenting with the hue/saturation and replace color thingies in PS. Sometimes those can give you inspiration for colorschemes.
My japanese is very poor, mainly because Im a swede... :P
[something] is/are, right(female version)?
one would perhaps reply, "Hai, kanojowa kawaii desu!" to that? |

you need some glasses....its very unsharp.
try to draw with the pencil and brush tool(hard edged) the face itself is okay. But a bit flat...it looks like the neck goes directly into the face... a bit more deep. and a bit more sharp and it would be okay.... okay...that grey background...hmmm change it also...

MK: thanks, i wasn't sure about the neck, actually... there was supposed to be a more obvious demarcation between neck and chin... :P i'll try and darken the neck a little... as for the unsharpness of it, i agree, but i've been using a touchpad so far, and was working mainly with the airbrush... i'm working on the sharpness of it though, but it's painfully slow... :P
the background will definitely be changed, i'm trying to go for a "fuzzy, out-of-focus" background, a-la a closeup photo... :P
cheers,
