The coke company has brought back Cherry Coke. Now heres the interesting side. I live in Kelowna, British Columbia and Ive noticed that in all the stores there is cherry coke 591ml bottles but no 1 or 2 litres or cans. I also just went to Red deer alberta and all the way there I found that no other cities in BC or Alta along the way have it.

my theory is that CocaCola corp. is just doing an experiment in Kelowna to see if it will sell very well in canada. can anybody else shed some light on this?

Cherry Coke was my favorite drink while growing up and I was sooooo disappointed when they took it away.

I don't think they ever stopped making Cherry Coke in the 'States. But yeah, companies do test market stuff like that all the time . . . I went to a McDonald's in California once and they had pizza. Pizza. At McDonald's.

You silly Canadians.

I drove to Toronto with some friends once. Canada.. frightens me. The streets were clean.. I could of eaten off the subway floor.. it was to much. Secondly, for a land with so god damn much land, you have very small things. The signs along the highway, have such tiny print, and since everyone speeds anyways, even the cops, you can't read them. Also.. your drinks. A large drink in Toronto was about equal to a small in the US. I also found orange flavored cream soda from Bargs. I cant find that anywheres where I'm at.

Wierd.

I saw cherry coke over here in NZ, but that was like a good 8-10 years ago. Pinkish wrapper from memory.

That and that it tasted like crap is all that I remember. Can't say I was sad to see it go.

Just outta curiosity, someone scan a wrapper in so I can see what they look like over where you guys are?

(just curious, like our macdonalds cups have a kiwi on them, if ya know what that is?)

Cherry coke has never left the US. It's a mainstay of American culture. Or something.

I have a 12 pack or two under my desk.

The shit rocks.

As for the label? It's like, a Coke red background with random black scribbles all over the box/can. Cherry coke is written in a black box with white lettering, also very scribbly.

*looks for a picture*

I mix coke with juices. They call me insane, but I love the taste. Like... applejuice, orangejuice, multifruitjuice, vitaminejuice, whateverjuice... it's very good. I don't like the actual taste of coke that much, so that's why I do it.
I think I'd like cherrycoke alot. :P

It is all about the orginal COKE! Nothing comes close.

And why does coke taste so much better in glass bottles? I heard somewhere that glass has smaller pores than plastic thus gas escapes slower and the coke is more fresh. Or something like that.
While skeptable of the above theory It does taste better in glass bottle form. Maybe its one of those mind things ;p
