or should I start from scratch again?. Just started with a pen tab. This is my first free hand drawing working from a sketch. I wondering where I should go with this, paint it or just sketch it. feedback appreciated.

You shoulnd if its a character, fix the nose, mouth, eyebrowse a bit and it should be fine

Havoc here I did up a touch up on your sketch with proper anatomy. You can see how the proportions in the face 'look' more spaced. However, your intention might have been to have a egg-head if that was your case, then just bring the ears down to the same level as the eyes. eyebrows thicker, mostly children and women have butten noses, and try studying lips (do a whole page, draw your family, yourself) I hope this helps.

thanks for the 411 guys I've forgotten more About drawing than I realised.... Went to Sheridan college in Oakville Ontario for a year . haven't drawn since then.. this is pretty much the most productive I've been since 1992.

But I want to go to sheridan college there...

Hmmmm... the original there looks pretty good, since from the accented jawbone it's cartoony anyway.

You should take the shading off and ask the kind people to take a crack at coloring it.
